Thanks so much to all who gave their work in and made this happen!
The Art Box is situated in Leamington town centre, opposite Christchurch Gardens and Herb restaurant. Do go and check it out if you have some spare time!
We have use of The Art Box for the next couple of months, so will be rotating artwork in due course. If you would like your work featured, please drop us a message to organise ππ¨

π± Harbury Home Ed Allotment! π±
We're excited to share that Harbury Home Ed Hub has just taken on a raised bed at Harbury Allotments, just behind Harbury park! π
It has kindly been cleared by Harbury Parish Council, which means it is ready for us to get growing! There is plenty that we can still get in the ground this time of year!
We also have use of a shed and greenhouse, and if there's enough interest, there may even be the opportunity to take on more beds in the future!
Days and times going forwards are yet to be decided. We'd love to find something that works for as many families as possible, but the beauty of an allotment is that it can be enjoyed together or individually... you might just fancy popping down to water something, pull a few weeds or see what's growing π
If you'd like to get involved, please let us know and we'll add you to our Allotment Group WhatsApp group so we can start making plans together.
We can't wait to see what grows... both in the beds and in our community π»π

πΎ HHEH Does Wimbledon! π
With Wimbledon in full swing, we thought we'd bring a little bit of SW19 to Harbury! π
Join us for an afternoon on the tennis courts, whether you're a seasoned player or simply fancy having a go. Children and adults are both very welcome to get involved... after all, every Wimbledon champion had to start somewhere! π
A huge thank you to Harbury Tennis Club, who have kindly funded the hire of the courts for us and are offering free court hire until 12th July!
Bring racquets and balls if you have them, but don't worry if not... we'll have some spares available to share.
Not into tennis? No problem! The playground is right next door, so there's plenty of opportunity to play, chat and catch up with friends.
And seeing as it's Wimbledon... feel free to bring a picnic and maybe even some strawberries and cream π

βοΈπ
A huge thank you to everyone who braved the weather and joined us last night!
Who'd have thought that, on the eve of a heatwave, our gathering would be hit with a rather dramatic downpour?! π
Thankfully, those who channelled their inner ducks and ignored the forecast were rewarded... the rain eased, the sky brightened and we still managed a wonderfully wholesome evening with good company, picnics and plenty of laughs π
Thank you to everyone who came and refused to be defeated by a bit of British summer! Same time next year... though we'll be putting in a request for the deluxe sunshine package next time ππ

Summer Solstice Picnic at Chesterton Windmill π
Join us for a very special evening get-together as we gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice with our home ed community π
This was one of our favourite meet-ups of the whole year last summer... a truly wholesome evening spent chatting, playing, sharing food and watching the sun go down together. We're so excited to do it all again!
The forecast is looking glorious βοΈ so pack up a picnic dinner, grab a blanket or camping chair, and come and enjoy a relaxed evening in one of the most beautiful spots in Warwickshire.
Feel free to bring along any outdoor games, balls or musical instruments you'd like to share with the group too.
Whether you fancy a kickabout, a game with friends, some music, or simply sitting and soaking up the atmosphere, there'll be plenty of space to enjoy the evening your own way π
As our previous art session here was sadly rained off, we'll also bring along some materials for anyone who would like to have a go at painting the landscape. No pressure at all to take part... just a little creative opportunity for those who fancy it π¨
With a bit of luck, we'll be treated to a beautiful sunset in a truly stunning setting π

Evening all! π
Weβre really looking forward to tomorrow's meet-up at Ufton Nature Reserve... we hope you are too! π²
Please meet in the car park at 1pm. We'll set off as a group shortly afterwards, heading through the gate on the right-hand side of the car park and along the woodland path, gathering materials for our nature collages as we go.
Please bring a bag or basket to collect interesting leaves, sticks, feathers and any other natural treasures you find along the way π
Once we reach the woodland area, we'll stop to create our collages. We'll provide card, glue, scissors and pens... and we'd love to see the grown-ups getting involved too! I've attached a few ideas for inspiration, but do let nature guide you and create something uniquely yours πΏβ¨οΈ
There will be plenty of time for free play and exploring in the woods too.
As always, our sessions are completely parent and child led. We're not here to teach as such... we simply provide the theme and materials, and you're free to take the activity in whatever direction suits your family best π
π Β£1 per child suggested donation to help cover materials π¦ Long sleeves and trousers recommended π₯Ύ Sturdy footwear advised as some areas may be uneven or muddy
Can't wait to see you there! πΏ
