It's quite simple, I adore good food and plenty of it! Food is one of life's greatest pleasures and in my opinion one of the most widely misunderstood areas of our lives. Until the age of 38 I simply didn't understand how to eat and this resulted in me carrying in excess of four and a half stone (over 63lbs) of unwanted body fat around with me. What's more, every diet I tried left me feeling like a miserable outsider and any weight loss I did achieve didn't last. Food at The Wendy House is abundant, unpretentious and tasty. Retreats at The Wendy House are very special events. They bring together the perfect combination of amazing women who find themselves in need of that indefinable something that enables them to get out of a rut and step forward towards what they really want from life. Each retreat is totally unique, combining a blend of powerful group and 1-1 support. They are often co-created with one or more of the holistic practitioners from my wider team whose amazing gifts and techniques are the the perfect compliment to the experience. Horses have been a passion of mine since I was a pony mad child with pigtails! Owning my own horse since the age of 13, it was no surprise that I graduated with an equine studies degree, went on to become a qualified Riding Instructor and began my career as a lecturer in Equine Studies at a land based college for 6 years. Time passed and life happened and pretty soon I came to realise that horses no longer featured strongly in my life. My passion was buried for a while under a 'proper job', paying the bills and the demands of a growing family. Fast forward a few years and with a daily practice of saying 'yes!' to myself in the same way I now support my clients to, and it's no surprise that horses now form an integral part of The Wendy House experience. The relationship between horses and humans has always been strong. Although we work with horses, the experience is not about the horse; it's about you and what the horse can teach you when you allow and let go of the outcome. It is a perfect mirror for you, providing instant feedback and insight on the issues of importance to you in the moment. Equine Guided Transformation at The Wendy House are deeply profound, unique and powerful. Interaction with the horse in this way can fast track many hours of traditional coaching time and its a deeply moving experience, whether you are an experienced horse lover or a cautious first timer around horses. Spending 1-1 time with me at The Wendy House is a beautiful and life changing experience for you if you find yourself wrung out, fed up and frustrated that your success in life just isn't cutting the mustard for you. You know there is something else out there waiting for you, but you don't think you can reach it alone. You may have a definite idea of what that is, or perhaps you are so confused you don't even know the questions you need to ask to get the answers you are seeking. Saying 'yes!' to 1-1 time at The Wendy House secures unparalleled access to me and my wider team. You have my support for at least three months as I 'take you by the hand' to ensure that the changes we make are fully established and you are confident of the journey ahead. Time with Wendy includes three full days with me at one of the gorgeous Wendy House locations (with an over night stay on each occasion if you wish). This face to face time is coupled with 'wrap around' care, giving you access to me by phone, text, email or skype between visits as needed to fully support your transformation. Time with Wendy and the women it attracts has a very special place in my heart. I only have capacity for four clients of this nature at any one time to ensure the high level of support it provides. Because this approach is truly bespoke, it allows the ultimate flexibility in the design of your experience with me as your journey unfolds. I never pre-empt where we will go during our time together, that's not the way I work. What I know for certain is that it will be a life changing experience that plugs you so firmly back into your unique gifts, who you are and releases so much of what is holding you at a distance from yourself, you will never look back.
