A beautiful sunny Sunday teaching sourdough, bagels, sourdough crisps and focaccia to a lovely group.

A mum and daughter arrived in Leamington yesterday to spend a week doing creative activities together. Staying in a local Air BnB and starting with bread making 😊

Many others were gifted the experience, so a real mix of novice and practiced home bakers! I love meeting new people and sharing skills to help them on their own journey of joyous baking at home. It's about making it practical enough that everyone goes home with greater confidence to try sourdough at home than they arrived with.

Couldn't visit Grasmere without getting some of their famous gingerbread. Not gingerbread as we know it. It's quite unique. A cross between a chewy cake and a crumbly biscuit.

The buriel home of Wordsworth 🏵. As you walk through, the incredible smell of gingerbread baking envelopes the senses.
