I’m now taking enquiries for September 2026.

If you’re looking for a small, friendly, home-from-home childminding setting where your little one will be cared for, encouraged and have lots of opportunities to learn through play, I’d love to hear from you.

At Louise’s Childminding, children enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor play, crafts, messy play, baking, stories, trips out and plenty of fun, all while learning at their own pace in a relaxed, nurturing environment.

Building strong relationships with both children and parents is really important to me, and I work closely with families to help every child feel happy, safe and confident.

Happy Nurses Appreciation Day! 🩺💙🩷

Today I want to give a very special shout-out to one of my amazing childminding parents — who also happens to be a nurse.

While I’m caring for their little one, they’re out there caring for everyone else’s loved ones. Long shifts, emotional days, endless patience, and a heart big enough to hold it all.

It really puts into perspective how much nurses quietly give, day after day, often without recognition.

I feel incredibly lucky to support a family where kindness, dedication, and care run so deep — both at home and at work.

To all the nurses out there, thank you for everything you do. You are truly appreciated, today and always 🩷

We enjoyed some lovely outdoor painting time with friends 🎨🌿

The children had so much fun getting creative in the fresh air, sharing ideas, colours and lots of laughter as they painted together.

We took our creativity into the forest this week for some beautiful bluebells painting 🌿🎨

Surrounded by nature, the children enjoyed exploring colours, textures and their imagination as they painted inspired by the bluebells around them. It was a lovely way to slow down, take in our surroundings and express ourselves through art.

The children have absolutely loved getting stuck into imaginative play, mixing, pouring and “cooking” with petals, leaves and a little bit of mud magic. It’s been wonderful to watch their creativity come to life as they explore textures, smells and colours in the great outdoors.

Spring 🌷 ☀️ 🌸

We have started to explore all things spring, following the children’s curiosity about the changing world around them and it’s something we are looking forward to exploring even more.

We’ve begun talking about new life, growing plants, and seasonal changes, supporting understanding of the world,
