We have an opportunity for you to join the team at Archways Drum School in Leamington.

If you are passionate about drumming, can read drum music and have the skills to pass onto our pupils this is ideal for you.

Working on a freelance basis from our fully equipped drum studios we have pupils available to teach from September 2025 on a Thursday evening and Saturday, but potentially at other times throughout the week.

DBS check will be required for this role.

The question was asked - As far as we can reasonably ascertain the image is uncredited and does not appear in any collection of photographs of Elvin Jones ascribed to a photographer who has asserted copyright. The image has been freely shared across multiple internet platforms over many years and has not been the subject of a take down notice or copyright infringement claim. Notwithstanding this the image was probably taken in America and would therefore under US law fall within the banner of the fair use of copyrighted work. The image in no way seeks to suggest that the late Elvin Jones, his fellow musicians, family or estate in any way support or endorse the teaching methods of Archways Drum School. It is the act of nailing the drum to the stage that is key to the image not who is doing such. We are therefore satisfied we can use this image in a limited run of T shirts to portray the essence and ethos of Archways Drum School. However, should we be notified of any copyright infringement or restriction on use we will immediately withdraw these garments from sale.

Good Morning from Archways Drum School.
Just wanted to share this article from BBC West Midlands News about our teacher Nick’s latest project. He will perform in Coventry Cathedral on the 8th March as part of a spectacular event celebrating the music of Pink Floyd.
The group of musicians playing are called ‘Everything Under The Sun’ and the music will include the album ‘Wish You Were Here’ to mark its 50th Anniversary.
The Cathedral’s ‘majestic pipe organ’ will be played as part of the band and should help to make this an unforgettable evening.

I would ask if I could, that you spare a thought or deed for anyone who is less fortunate. Maybe offer a wish (or prayer) for peace in the face of the continuing hideous violence around the world. And as you celebrate with people you love, let them know you love them. Life is so precious.
