🌉🐐 Who's that trip-trapping over the bridge...? 🐐🌉

Our children have been having a wonderful time exploring Traditional Tales this term! After bringing The Three Billy Goats Gruff story to life, the children set off across the bridge to see if they could spot the troll hiding underneath!

Alongside Billy Goats Gruff, we've also enjoyed adventures with Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Through storytelling, role play, creative activities, maths games and outdoor learning, the children have been developing their language, imagination, confidence, sequential language and love of books.

At Caterpillars, learning is brought to life through exciting experiences that inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. ❤️

✨ Now Enrolling! ✨

Today, we are absolutely delighted to share some incredible news – we have received funding approval for our new building! 🎉

We know that our current building is old, and many of you have watched it serve generations of children and families over the years. But what has always made Caterpillar Nursery so special has never been the facility. It is our philosophy, our ethos, our exceptional team, and the love, care and education we provide every single day that define who we are.

For decades, countless families have placed their trust in us, allowing us to play a part in their children's earliest years. That trust is something we never take for granted, and we are incredibly proud of the community we have built together.

This new building is much more than a new home for us. It is an investment in the future, ensuring we can continue to provide exceptional care, education and the nurturing environment that families have come to expect from us for many more decades to come.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has supported us on this journey. We can't wait to share the next chapter with you and to welcome future generations of children into a purpose-built setting that reflects everything we stand for.

🐝 A Bee‑autiful Morning at Preschool! 🍯

Last week we had some buzz‑tastic visitors from Shipston Bee Keepers — Gary and Caroline! The children were absolutely stung with excitement as they explored the wonderful world of bees.

They brought along:
• A real bee suit for us to try
• A beehive to peek inside 👀
• A smoker
• Sticky, yummy honey 🍯
• A fascinating piece of honeycomb

Gary and Caroline talked to the children about how honey is made and harvested, why bees are so important for our environment, and what we can all do to help care for them.
The children loved learning how these tiny creatures do such big jobs.

We’re so grateful for this sweet experience — it really created a buzz around the preschool! 🐝💛

Let’s keep helping our busy bee friends by planting flowers, being gentle in nature, and remembering that every little action can make a hive of difference.

This is what learning looks like, at Caterpillar Nursery!

Here at Caterpillar Nursery we have some good news, and bad news...

The bad news is our digging area has been cordoned off and relocated for the rest of this term.

The good news is it's because the Bees heard all about our project and have decided to send some mining bees to make it their home!

Please know, that Mining Bees are solitary and non aggressive, so we are happy to house them this season 🥰🐝

What a wonderful hands-on opportunity this is for our Busy Buzzy Children.
