Welcome back to all our Little Saplings and Hello 👋 to our new starters.
We hope you all have had a lovely relaxing summer and are ready for an exciting term full of autumnal fun inside and out 🍁 🍂

We hope that all our leavers are settling in well and enjoying being in their new schools. It has been lovely to see some happy smiley faces over the fence these last couple of days 🙂

Wow what a fab end of term! 🤩

We have all had an amazing time at the Little Saplings Summer-Fest this week, we have been showing off our spectacular dance moves, whilst our friends performed on the stage (including a special guest appearance from “MEG” on the saxophone 🎷) 🤭
The ice cream parlour 🍦🍨 has been very busy, with some rather unusual flavours on offer 🤔
All followed by a spot of fishing in the lake and a relaxing time by the beach, before we headed back to the campsite for a sing song around the campfire.

We hope you all have a lovely relaxing summer 🌞🏖️🍦

P.s we are very excited to announce that we have managed to grow our very own tomato 🍅 🤗

Last week we had our health and fitness week.
The children all enjoyed learning about healthy foods,how to look after our bodies and each day we had a different fitness activity that they all loved taking part in.
We also learnt what plants need to grow and the children took it in turns to water our tomatoes that we are growing in our vegetable garden.

With the weather being lovely and warm, this week’s Makaton sign is “Sunshine”☀️

Why not have a go at using the sign yourself? Whether you’re enjoying time in the garden, going for a walk, or playing outside!

Don’t forget to stay safe in the sun by wearing a hat, applying sunscreen, and drinking plenty of water! 💛

As we celebrate Health & Fitness Week, we’re focusing on keeping active, having fun, and enjoying movement together! 🌟

Why not practice the sign at home and see how many different ways you can move together? Whether it’s running, jumping, dancing, or playing outside, every little bit of activity counts! 😊

We are over the moon to share with you all the results of our latest Ofsted inspection that was published today!⭐️

We are proud to say all safeguarding standards are fully met, we achieved ‘Strong standard’ in two areas and achieved ‘Expected standard’ in all other areas!🤩

We would like to take this opportunity to say how immensely proud we are of all the staff for all their hard work and dedication❤️

This week’s Makaton sign is “Daddy” 💙

As Father’s Day is coming up, we wanted to celebrate all the wonderful dads and special father figures who make such a difference in our lives 💫

This week at Little Saplings, we are learning the Makaton sign for “fish” while celebrating World Ocean Day and exploring all things under the sea! 🐠🌊

This Wednesday and Thursday Little saplings will be holding a cake sale at the end of the day. 🍰🧁🥮
Any cake donations will be gratefully received at drop off in the mornings and all proceeds will be going back into our wonderful preschool for much needed resources.
