It has been lovely to see smiley faces on the gate and lots of enthusiastic learning in classes. The staff have really enjoyed meeting their new classes and setting up new routines.
The children have particularly enjoyed using our new nurture space in the playground bought for the school by our hardworking PTA. We are really looking forward to naming the building and using it for lots more of our learning. Have a lovely weekend Lawford!

From 28–30 July, our iRock Band Coaches across the East of England - including Ross, Ant, Daniel, Paul, Sebastien, Andy, Rachel, Holly, Nathan, Ben and Jacob - will be taking part in iRock Amplified, using music to support local communities while raising funds for Together for Short Lives.

Across Norfolk and Essex, the iRock team will support a YMCA holiday camp, work with at-risk young people and vulnerable adults and perform at a children’s centre. They will also hold a fundraising busking marathon at Colchester Castle Park on Wednesday 29 July, from 10.30am–3.30pm. Families are warmly invited to come along, enjoy the live performances and support the team in person.

Please share the attached flyer and fundraising link with your staff and families. Donations are the most important way to support the campaign, and every contribution will help Together for Short Lives support seriously ill children and their families.
