Great news from Lantra Scotland on additional funding available to support practical training and . 👇
We’re delighted to announce that the Scottish Government have committed £365,000 to the practical training funds that we administer.
The Women in Agriculture Practical Training Fund has been allocated £195,000 and the Small Producers Practical Training Fund has £170,000.
Our director Gill said:
“Skills development is vital to the long-term success of Scotland's rural economy.
“By supporting women in agriculture and small producers to access practical training, these funds will help people develop new skills, build confidence and create opportunities for themselves and their businesses.
“It is fantastic to see the Scottish Government continuing to invest in the future of Scotland's rural industries, and we are delighted to deliver this support on their behalf through Skills Hub Scotland. We encourage anyone who is eligible to explore the opportunities available and apply."
You can get 100% funding for training valued at up to £500 per course, but if the training you want costs more than £500, you will have to demonstrate the value of the course to yourself or your business.
