🍂🍁 Our New Autumn Menu Has Arrived! 🍁🍂

👩🏻‍🍳As the days get a little chillier, our lovely nursery cook, Liz, has been busy putting together a menu full of warming, nutritious and tasty homemade meals to keep our little ones happy, healthy and full of energy!🍁

We’ve carefully planned our menu to gently introduce the children to a wonderful variety of ingredients, flavours and textures, encouraging them to be curious, explore new foods, discover different tastes and develop a real enjoyment of eating.🥕🥦🍎

💜💚 A little appreciation for our wonderful Tiny Tots Team… 🌿

Working in childcare really is one of the most rewarding jobs there is. Every day brings laughter, joy, little achievements and those special moments that make it such a privilege to be part of a child's early years.

But we also know it isn't always easy! Caring for, nurturing and educating little ones, whilst navigating so many tiny emotions, feelings, friendships and individual needs, takes endless patience, energy, kindness and a very big heart. 💚

This morning, we reminded our parents how important it is to find time to look after themselves, so they can be the best version of themselves for their children and shared some delicious breakfast bites to eat on the go. And we want to extend exactly the same message to our amazing team.

We are so lucky to have a team who genuinely hold every child in their hearts and minds and work so hard to make each day happy, safe and full of wonderful experiences.

Thank you for everything you do, including all those little things that often go unnoticed. We see them, we value them, and we are so grateful.

Remember to take care of yourselves too. You matter just as much! 💜💚

🏫Primary School showcase event 🏫

💜💚It was wonderful to welcome so many of our local feeder primary schools to our nursery last night to hold our school showcase evening for parents of school starters in September 27, and September 28.

☺️A huge thank you to all of our amazing local school staff who gave up their time to come and meet families of prospective new pupils : we loved welcoming you again and hearing such a positive buzz amongst you all as you also got the chance to reconnect with colleagues. Thank you for working in partnership with us to support local parents with such an important choice.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒A huge thank you also to the families who came and met the school staff and began to think about which school might suit their child. It was great to welcome so many families from outside of our nursery as well.

👍The feedback from parents has been how useful it is to just put some faces to names, to realise which schools are out there and to see lots of schools in one place so that you can then plan out which open days to pop along to.

❓If you have any questions, or if we can offer you any support in the process of applying for school places please don't hesitate to get in touch before January 15 2027, which is when the application window closes.

This evening, our fabulous Baby Room staff team
have continued to embrace the opportunities for
CPD, by joining other early years educators on the Early Years South West Stronger Practice Hub Baby Room Network meetings.

Alice Thornton, enabled us to focus in on ways to further enhance early communication skills within our youngest members at Tiny Tots 💜💚, through creating a language rich environment with the chances to pause, observe and notice what our babies are doing or trying to communicate to us.

🐛Our wonderful Caterpillar staff team 🐛 have thoughtfully staged their room to welcome in some of our younger members of Tiny Tots, giving them space to sit, roll, crawl and take those first few steps, whilst carefully encouraging their sensory exploration of their environment through muted pastels and black and white areas. 👶🏼

If you have found out you're expecting - our congratulations! 🥳 If you think you might need childcare in the future for your new arrival, we would love to show you around Tiny Tots. We are now able to offer full time availability from January 28 onwards.
