𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐍𝐄 of this weeks Summer Holiday Rugby Camp for ages 9-12 🏉

The kids had a fun filled day of catch and pass, evasion, team work and game understanding! We have a busy week ahead of us and the following week!

We still have space available next week for the 13-16 year olds Summer Holiday Rugby Camp! There is the option to attend the whole week or just the days that suit you!

NEW FOR SEPTEMBER ✨

HOME ED SESSION at RDW Academy!

We’re excited to be starting up a new weekly session at RDW Academy, specifically for home-educated children! 🙌🏼

We’ll make use of both our indoor gym facilities and outdoor field facilities, with activities changing from week to week. Expect games, fitness challenges, movement coordination, team activities and plenty of fun! 🏃🏼

• No previous sporting experience needed
• All ages and abilities welcome
• Indoor gym and outdoor facilities
• 1 hour session
• £8 per session

🗓️ Every Wednesday
⏰ 10-11am
📍 RDW Academy, Launceston
🚀 Starting September

Spaces will be limited, so if you’re home educating and looking for a regular PE session for your child, we’d love to welcome you to RDW!

We have had an influx of new followers recently, so we thought we would reintroduce ourselves and give you an insight as to what we do!

We are a sports performance and rugby academy based in Launceston, Cornwall. We are dedicated to helping the next generation of athletes and pushing them to the next level to reach their full potential.
Our aim is to develop resilient, confident and skillful players by focusing on not only rugby ability, but also strength, speed, fitness, mindset, teamwork and character.

Does your child already play for a club and is wanting to strive to go further? Our sessions are designed to improve their game in a positive, supportive and professional environment.

Our coaches are ex-professional players, who have 35 years experience playing and now coaching. They too have been in the same position as your children and want to recreate the support they had to push them to their full potential!

𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇 𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐃𝐖 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐘 - Kieron Lewitt 💥

We are incredibly excited to officially welcome, 𝐊𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐭 to the coaching team at RDW Academy!

Ryan & Kieron’s rugby journey goes back an incredible 35 years, playing against each other from U7’s, with Kieron representing Launceston RFC and Ryan playing for Penzance & Newlyn RFC🏉

From rivals to teammates, they were both selected to represent Cornwall RFU from U14’s in 1998. Their talent then earned them both prestigious rugby scholarships to Colston’s Collegiate in Bristol in 2000, one of the country’s leading rugby schools.

After school, their paths took them in different directions. Kieron signed for Bath Rugby whilst Ryan joined Cornish Pirates during the 2003/04 season. In 2008 they reunited once again playing together for Launceston RFC in the National One League.

Fast forward to today, after 35 years of friendship, competition, teamwork and shared experiences, we are proud to have Kieron joining RDW Academy.

Kieron brings a huge amount of playing experience, knowledge and passion for developing young athletes. His attention to detail, professionalism and love for the game make him an outstanding coach, and we know he is going to have a massive impact on everyone who trains with us. We genuinely couldn’t ask for a better person to join our team, and we are excited for all our athletes to learn from him.

Kieron will be introducing a range of new sessions to the academy, including 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 alongside more exciting opportunities that we are announcing very soon 💥
