🎉🥳We are delighted to announce that our Summer Fiesta raised an incredible £1325!🥳🎉

A huge thank you to our amazing school community, dedicated staff, parent volunteers and local businesses for your support! And it all wouldn’t have been possible without our fantastic FoLPS team for organising and putting the fiesta together!

☀️🎉 What a fantastic Summer Fiesta!🌭🎯

A huge thank you to all the families and friends who came along to support us. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the afternoon.

A special thank you to our amazing PTA, school staff and volunteers. From months of planning to setting up, running the stalls and packing everything away, we couldn’t have done it without you.

A big shout out to our incredible local businesses for your generous support through raffle prizes, discounts, materials and helping build our games. Your kindness and community spirit made a real difference.

🎉 Summer Fiesta – TODAY | 3:00–5:00pm 🎉
We're looking forward to seeing you all after Sports Day! Here’s a sneak peak!

🎟️ Before Sports Day�The PTA team will be at the school gates and on the field selling:
* 🎟️ Grand Raffle tickets
* 🥤 Refreshments
* 🎫 Game token cards
Game token cards:�• 5-token card – £2.50�• 10-token card – £5.00
Each game costs 1 token. Children keep their token cards with them and these are crossed off as they play. If they run out, extra token cards can be purchased at the Token Point on the field.

💳 Payment�We'll have our SumUp card readers available across the event, but we recommend bringing a little cash too, just in case.

🌭 BBQ from around 3:45pm (cash & card accepted), serving delicious Philip Warren Butchers burgers and sausages, with vegan options available.
🥤 Drinks & ice creams (cash & card accepted) will also be available throughout the afternoon.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Bradfords for their incredibly generous donation of all the materials and for building our fantastic games for tomorrow’s Summer Fiesta! 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who has been selling raffle tickets – your support will make a real difference to what we can raise for the school!

Please remember to return all raffle ticket money, ticket stubs and any unsold tickets to your child’s class teacher today in a sealed envelope.

If you didn’t sell all of your tickets, don’t worry – simply return them to school so we can sell them at the Summer Fiesta.

🏖️ Calling All Families! Help to Build Our Summer Hampers! 🏖️
After the huge success of our Christmas Rainbow Hampers, FoLPS are bringing them back — with a sunny summer twist!

Each year group has been given a specific summer‑themed category to collect. All donations will be combined to create the ultimate Summer Survival Kit Hampers, ready to be raffled off at the Summer Fiesta on 1st July.

📦 Collection boxes will be outside classrooms before and after school.
🗓️ Please send items in by Friday 26th June.

🎁 Class Categories & Ideas
Reception — Summer Snacks
Crisps, popcorn, cereal bars, mini biscuits, marshmallows, fruit winders

Year 1 — Boredom Busters
Summer books, sticker books, activity pads, puzzles, colouring sets, travel games, crafts

Year 2 — Sunshine Essentials
Sun cream, after‑sun, SPF lip balm, cooling sprays, sunglasses, hand fans, reusable bottles, picnic bits

Year 3 — Outdoor Games & Fun
Bubbles, chalk, frisbees, skipping ropes, water pistols, beach balls, mini garden games, kites

Year 4 — Summer Drinks
Fizzy cans, squash, juice boxes, cider, beer, premixed cans, wine, prosecco

💛 Got something useful that isn’t in your category? Pop it in anyway — every item helps make the hampers even better.

🎟️ Raffle tickets will be coming home soon for children to sell to family and friends, helping us raise even more for the school.

🌞 Summer Fiesta – Volunteers Needed! 🌞Weds 1st July 3.00-5.00 pm

We’re busy getting everything ready for our Summer Fiesta, and to make the event happen for the children we really do need volunteers.

We've set up a quick Google Form so you can add your details easily. It only takes a minute, and it helps us organise the volunteer WhatsApp group (very limited messages — just essential info before and on the day).
