Week 4 of holiday club was all about the outdoors, saving the planet and using natural resources to create and have lots of FUN with. From den building to woodwork, marshmallows to a trash mob cleaning up the local village, shell art to pebble painting we did it all!!!!! Including making up our own campfire story that we illustrated using AI 🤖

Our book of the week is a picture book classic, celebrating its 30th year in print. A delightful surprise colourfully unfolds when a little girl called Handa puts seven delicious fruits in a basket to take to her friend.

A modern classic named one of the best culturally diverse picture books in the UK, this is the story of Handa, who's part of the Luo tribe in south-west Kenya.

Week 3 of holiday club was Art week … we did big art, small art, spray art, tall art, messy art, nature art, plus lots of fun, ice cream and frolics! Thank to our fabulous Emma for organising the week ❤️

The book of the week at Trethorne is “ Shaggy Dog and his Terrible Itch” …. Poor dog has SUCH a terrible itch that he runs to the poodle parlour for a good shampoo ….. much shenanigans follow!!
