With 24 entries the intermediate class was one of our biggest yet! What a lovely way to end the day with young local lad Sam Millman taking home first prize. He is a man of few words and his speech lasted a whole 3 seconds but he was so delighted he very nearly cracked a smile 😅😉 well done Sam and ALL the intermediate competitors! What a great turnout, we’d like to thank you all for coming and we hope to see you again next year!!!

Next up a huge Junior class and I think it’s clear to see that Graeme Hutchings was over the moon to be taking home first prize and the Robert Truscott memorial cup. (The smile says it all) 😁

Well done to all the YFC members who took part in the YFC class especially Morgan Smith for winning 1st Prize and taking home the Wallace Facey Memorisl Salver, presented by a good family friend Mr David Bersey.
It was also the South West Area competition this year so we were delighted to welcome young farmers from as far as Gloucester to represent their county!

What a brilliant first day at the royal Cornwall show! We were delighted that despite the weather there were HUGE entries in all the classes with shearers travelling from all over the country such as, Gloucester, wales and even Ireland to compete in the competitions!! I took a photo of some of the sheep out the back to show what a great standard of shearing was being maintained. Each and every one of you should be proud of yourselves!! Well done and please be sure to come back next year ☺️☺️ …results to follow!
