🌾👀 Have you spotted Ruby waiting outside our school?

Ruby is patiently waiting to be judged by the Launceston Carnival team, and we are so proud of the whole-school effort that has brought her to life! 💚

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that she does well, but we know there are lots of fantastic scarecrows taking part in the competition. 🌻

Well done to everyone who helped create Ruby – we think she’s a real star! ⭐ 🤞🍂

🌟 We’re looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join our team! 🌟

Launceston Primary School is looking for an ambitious, inspiring and deeply relational leader to join our school as Assistant Headteacher.

This is a non-class-based role with dedicated time and capacity to lead across:

• Inclusion & SEND
• Safeguarding
• Thrive
• Attendance
• OPAL & outdoor play
• Whole-school improvement and standards

We’re looking for someone with energy, drive and kindness — someone who is ready to make a genuine difference to children’s lives and help shape the future of our school.

Could you be the right fit?

You might be an experienced Headteacher looking for a different balance, an exceptional SENCO ready for the strategic capacity of a non-class-based role, or an experienced Assistant Headteacher or middle leader ready for an exciting new challenge.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who shares our values, brings warmth and authenticity, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in — including getting muddy alongside our children! 🌿

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
