Some of today's accessories, chicken life cycle, bees, opticians and light refraction. And this is how we learn through play....every activity is based on what the children have experienced in their wider world or shown an interest in from a trip to the opticians, or seeing a rainbow on the wall caused by my windows or pointing out the insects round the flowers etc. We make the activities fun and learn as we ask questions or experiment. Its been a fun and full on day!

All set up for world book day. Ive been busy working on The Scarecrow Wedding story sack in the evenings, ready for today, and last night I made the little shop/cafe front too so the children can learn through role playing. I hope the children love them all 🥰

Today's messy play involved "love potions" and rose scented oblique for valentines 💝 we also had out Drs Role play set up following on from the children's interests.
