Northshore Pottery

I am very pleased to be part of a great exhibition showcasing wood fire pottery from Scotland and around the world. It hs been organised by the Forfar Commnity Woodfire Kiln project. The kiln is a brilliant facility for potters near and far! The exhibition runs until 11th October. The publicity shots have been given to me to share and are of work by Shiroby frm Japan, myself, and Eva Lys Champagne from USA. Many thanks go Fran Marquis for all her hard work!

I'm nearly ready for the party tomorrow! The gallery is looking s***k and span, and cooking is underway. I'm onto making the lemonade at the moment. 🥂 🙂☀️

The spring party is going to be a bit later than usual this year, but I am hoping the weather will have warmed up a bit by mid May!

The pottery will be closed on Friday (tomorrow) and Saturday. Open again on Tuesday (14th April)

I'm halfway through the unpacking, and the pottery is open this morning after the winter break! I hope customers won't mind a small amount of chaos here today!

Another firing completed! Thanks to everyone who came to help. I feel very lucky indeed to have so much support from everyone.
As I am off to visit my sisters next week I am going to delay the unpacking until I get back. Unpacking Tuesday the 31st March, then the pottery will be open again for the 2026 season on Wednesday, April 1st. I'm looking forward to welcoming people into the studio once again! 🙂☀️

Moon jars look so nice when the clay is still soft. They will be wood fired in March. 🙂🔥🌖
