🎒✨ Ready or not... here we go! ✨🎒

Tomorrow, the doors of Corran Integrated Primary School swing open once again, and we can't wait to welcome our pupils back for another year of learning, laughter and making memories together.

While our children have been enjoying the summer break, our staff have been hard at work preparing classrooms, attending training, planning exciting learning experiences and putting the finishing touches on everything needed for a fantastic year ahead.

For some children, tomorrow will feel like stepping back into familiar routines with friends. For others, particularly those joining us for the first time, it may feel a little daunting. Please know that our caring staff team will be ready with warm smiles, helping hands and plenty of reassurance.

As an integrated school, we are proud to be a place where everyone belongs, where difference is celebrated, and where every child is encouraged to learn, grow and thrive.

To our pupils: we hope you've had a wonderful summer. Get an early night, dust off those school shoes, and try to remember which drawer your uniform has been hiding in for the past eight weeks! 😄

Here's to a year filled with friendship, kindness, curiosity and success.

🌟📚 The Countdown is On! 📚🌟

Excitement is building as we prepare to welcome everyone back for another fantastic year at Corran Integrated Primary School and Nursery on Friday!

Our staff have been busy behind the scenes getting classrooms ready, planning engaging learning experiences, and taking part in professional training to ensure we're ready for a successful start to the new academic year. Today, we benefited from an excellent First Aid training session delivered by Janice from BISP Training Ltd. There was certainly lots to learn, and we are grateful for the opportunity to refresh and develop these important skills.

As we continue our preparations, please keep an eye on communications from the school office over the coming days for important information ahead of the restart.

We can't wait to see our pupils and families again and look forward to a year filled with learning, friendship, achievement and fun.

🌟 End of Another Wonderful School Year 🌟
As we reach the end of another fantastic school year, I would like to take a moment to congratulate all of our pupils on their hard work, determination, achievements and personal growth. Each and every one of you should be incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished this year. It has been a joy to celebrate your successes, watch your confidence grow and see the many ways you contribute to our school community.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of our parents, carers and families for your continued support throughout the year. Your partnership, encouragement and commitment play such an important role in the life of our school, and we are truly grateful for everything you do.

On a personal note, I want to thank our pupils, families, staff and governors for the warm welcome you have given me over the past six months. From the moment I joined the Corran community, I have been made to feel valued, supported and at home. I have loved getting to know so many wonderful children, families and colleagues, and I am incredibly grateful for the kindness, dedication and hard work shown by everyone who makes our school such a special place.

As the summer holidays begin, I wish you all a safe, relaxing and enjoyable break filled with happy memories and special moments with family and friends.
Thank you for a wonderful year. I look forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another exciting year of learning, growth and success.

✨ Our P7 Leavers – Class of 2026 ✨
What a truly special time it has been celebrating our wonderful Primary 7 children as they reach the end of their journey at Corran Integrated Primary School.
Last night, they took to the stage and delivered an absolutely magnificent performance at their leavers’ play. Their talent, confidence, humour and teamwork shone through in every scene — we could not be prouder of each and every one of them. 🌟
Today, they enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter and precious memories with their friends — a perfect way to mark their final day as pupils of Corran IPS. 💙
Our P7s have grown into kind, respectful and resilient young people who truly embody our integrated ethos. They have learned together, supported one another and built friendships that we know will last for years to come.
While it is never easy to say goodbye, we send them on to the next stage of their journey with confidence, pride and so much love.
Thank you, P7, for the joy, energy and positivity you have brought to our school. You will always be a very special part of the Corran family.

Avast me hearties! P3 had a swash-buckling week working on their pirate ship projects. We tested them out over the last two days and predicted if they would float or sink. We learned alot about materials that float and sink, about material that absorb water and materials that are waterproof. A class full of creative engineers! Well done to P3 and their families.

Primary 5 had some exciting visitors today!

As part of our Birds and Flight topic, we welcomed Hawk Walks Falconry Experiences N.I to school. The pupils loved meeting the birds of prey and discovering more about these incredible raptors.

It was a highly engaging and interactive session, giving everyone the opportunity to learn about these magnificent birds up close! 🦉🦅

A huge thank you to David and Jo for such a memorable experience.
