๐ŸŽ‰ Celebrating Our Year 11 & 12 GCSE Success! ๐ŸŽ‰

A huge congratulations to all of our Year 11 and Year 12 pupils who received their GCSE results yesterday!

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout the year. Every result represents a great deal of effort, progress and perseverance, and it was fantastic to see that recognised on results day.

๐Ÿ‘ Well done to every one of our Year 11s and 12s you should be very proud of what you have achieved!

We wish all of our pupils every success as they take their next steps, and we look forward to seeing what comes next for each of them. ๐ŸŒŸ

Thatโ€™s a wrap on the 2025/26 school year! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

What a year it has been in the ACE Centre.
Throughout the year, our pupils have worked incredibly hard, shown resilience, built confidence and made fantastic progress in so many different ways. From classroom learning, cooking, PE, technology, science, and practical activities to trips, celebrations, work experience, sports days, colour runs, and community events, there has been so much to be proud of.

We have loved seeing our pupils develop important life skills, enjoy new experiences, support one another and celebrate their achievements.

Highlights have included end-of-year trips to W5 and Carrickfergus, our 9ACE Graduation Award Ceremony, festive celebrations, senior pupils taking part in work experience, and our involvement in Larne Football Club and P&O Ferriesโ€™ Matchday Matters initiative.

We are also incredibly grateful for the kindness and support shown to us by our parents, carers, staff, Larne Football Club, P&O Ferries and the wider community. Your encouragement and generosity make such a difference to the young people in the ACE Centre.

Like every school year, there have been many ups and downs, including moments not always seen online, but through it all, our pupils have continued to make us proud.

A huge well done to every pupil for their hard work, achievements and progress this year.
We hope everyone has a lovely, restful summer break โ€” see you next year! โ˜€๏ธ

Last Friday, 10 ACE enjoyed a well-deserved day out in Carrickfergus to celebrate all their hard work throughout the academic year.

Despite the pouring rain, pupils had a brilliant day exploring the town and practising important life skills, including buying their own train tickets. The class visited Kilcreggan Farm, enjoyed lunch at The Dancing Goat Cafรฉ, browsed and bought books at The Secret Bookshelf, and explored Marine Gardens, Carrickfergus War Memorials, Carrickfergus Castle and Carrickfergus Museum.

The trip linked beautifully with recent in-class learning, especially our work on World War One, and gave pupils the chance to learn more about local history in a real-world setting.

Everyone had a fantastic day out!

A big thank you to our Year 10 pupil, Nathan, for providing a full write-up to support the pictures!

On Tuesday, 9 ACE enjoyed a fantastic end-of-year trip to W5 to celebrate all their hard work throughout the year.

Pupils had a brilliant day exploring the interactive exhibits, getting involved in hands-on activities and spending time together outside the classroom.

It was a lovely way to finish the year and recognise everything they have achieved.

Well done, 9 ACE!

What an incredible weekend for our Year 10 pupil, Nathan! โšฝ๐Ÿ†

Nathan and his teammates at Larne Lions won the SBYL Cup on Saturday, with Nathan proudly leading the team as captain and goalkeeper. To top it all off, he was named Player of the Tournament on Sunday! ๐ŸŒŸ

Despite feeling nervous, Nathan showed great determination, resilience and confidence throughout the weekend, and we are absolutely delighted to see his hard work rewarded.

Congratulations, Nathan โ€“ What an achievement!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™
