🍂🌧️ A little look at our week! 🍂🎃

A few pictures from our week of dodging the rain showers and making the most of every dry spell! ☔️😂

We’ve been keeping busy with lots of fun, including:

🧁 Making some yummy buns to enjoy with our friends.

🌿 Exploring Ballyclare Sensory Park and Garden.

🍃 A visit to Lilian Bland Community Park in Glengormley.

🎲 Playing games and having lots of fun together.

🎃 Getting started on our autumn and Halloween crafts… 🍂👻

A lovely mix of outdoor adventures, baking, playing and getting creative with our little gang!☺️

🍂 And just like that… September has been and gone! 🍂

Where has that month disappeared to?! 😱 It feels like only yesterday we were getting ready for new routines, new beginnings and lots of little adventures.

It’s been so lovely watching everyone settle into their new P1 adventures 🎒🥰 New uniforms, new friends, new routines and lots of tired little faces by the end of the day! 😂❤️

We’ve had plenty of fun along the way, making memories, getting out and about and enjoying our time together.

And we also got to celebrate a very special girl’s birthday! 🎂🎈💗 A lovely day celebrating her and making sure she felt extra special.

September, you’ve been a busy one, but a brilliant one! ❤️

🌸 A lovely week with the gang! 🌸

We’re still trying to make the most of every opportunity to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, adventures and plenty of fun! 🌳🛝☀️

Everyone is settling back into school and nursery, and those familiar routines are slowly getting back to normal. 😊🎒

Our mornings are definitely a lot quieter these days, the house feels a little different when some of our gang are back at school! 🥹❤️

🥭 THE GREAT MANGO FESTIVAL! 🥭😂

On a previous visit to Glenarm Castle, one little man discovered the most delicious mango sorbet! 🍦🥭

Well, that mango sorbet clearly made quite an impression because it gave him the best idea….

“Mango festival day!” 🥭🎉😂

So today, we decided to put his idea into action and have our very own little mango tasting adventure!

We sampled lots of different mango foods, tried lots of delicious treats and discovered just how many different ways you can enjoy mango! 🥭😋

There were plenty of taste tests, lots of opinions and, of course, a few firm favourites and a few definite NO’s. 😂

Who knew that a tub of mango sorbet could inspire a whole festival?! 🤣🥭

🌞 And just like that… summer is coming to an end! 🌞

What a summer it has been! 🥹❤️

We’ve packed so much fun, adventure, exploring, making memories and plenty of laughs into our summer break. 🥰

We’ve been here, there and everywhere, squeezing in as much as possible before the school bags come back out! 🎒

And that’s only some of what we’ve been up to! 😅

And then comes the bittersweet part… 🥹❤️

Some of our little ones are heading off to school and nursery for the very first time! 🎒🧸 I’m so excited to watch them take this next big step and I can’t wait to hear all about their adventures at pick-up time. ❤️

The house is definitely going to feel a little quieter without them! 🥹

🌞 Another week of summer adventures! 🌞

The end of summer is fast approaching 😭☀️ so we’re trying to squeeze in as much fun, fresh air and adventure as we possibly can before the summer holidays come to an end!

🌳 Monday: Carnlough for a good old play in the park
🏎️ Tuesday: V36 Park in Newtownabbey — plenty of running, climbing and fun!
🏊‍♀️ Wednesday: Cushendall for a picnic 🧺 followed by a swim 🫣💦 — because why not make the most of the sunshine!
🏛️ Thursday: Cultra, stepping back in time and exploring a little bit of history
😴 Friday: A much-needed chill day after another busy week of adventures!

Another week full of laughs, exploring, playing and making those lovely summer memories before back to the school runs. ❤️

💥🤪 BEANO HIJINKS at Hillsborough Castle! 🤪💥

What a bonkers brilliant day we had at Hillsborough Castle Gardens! 🏰🌳

We headed off for some Beano Hijinks and, just like Dennis, Gnasher and the gang, there was absolutely NO shortage of mischief! 😂💥

From exploring the gorgeous gardens 🌿🌸 to getting stuck into all the Beano fun, the children had a day packed full of giggles, adventures, silliness and a few cheeky antics along the way! 😜

There were smiles all round, plenty of energy to burn and lots of “What shall we do next?” moments! 🙈😂

A BASHINGLY brilliant day was had by all — although thankfully, nobody ended up in the Bash Street Kids’ naughty corner! 🤣

Now… where’s Gnasher when you need him?! 🐶💨

⚓️🏴‍☠️ What an amazing adventure we had today with our friends at Rebecca’s little explorers - Registered Childminder🏴‍☠️⚓️

Today we stepped aboard the incredible Galeón Andalucía, and the children had the best time exploring the “pirate ship”! They loved wandering around the decks, peeking into the cabins, and discovering all the fascinating treasures and hidden corners. It was a fantastic opportunity to spark their imaginations while learning a little about life at sea. I’ve ended up coming home with 6 new pirates 🏴‍☠️🦜☠️

After all that exploring, we made a well-earned pit stop at McDonald’s for lunch before heading to V36 Park in Newtownabbey, where everyone enjoyed burning off some energy with lots of climbing, running, and playing together.

✨ Halfway Through the Summer Holidays! ☀️

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through the summer holidays! We’ve been making the most of every day together, creating wonderful memories and enjoying lots of outdoor adventures. 💛

This week our adventures took us to:

🌳 Ballygally Park
🏰 Carrickfergus Castle
🌿 Glenarm
🛝 Scarlett’s Park

We’ve had so much fun exploring, playing, learning, and spending time together in the fresh air and with our friends. From castle adventures to park play, it’s been another fantastic week filled with smiles, laughter, and happy memories. 😊

Here’s to making the most of the second half of the summer holidays and all the exciting adventures still to come! ☀️🌈
