Primary Two have made a great start to the new school year! Today, they worked as a team to find the hidden tricky words, using the colour code to sort them all. When every word was found, they filled the sheets by writing the tricky words themselves! Primary Two show so much enthusiasm and enjoyment for learning already. Well done boys and girls!

🌟 Welcome to St MacNissi's Primary One! 🌟

What a wonderful few days we have had welcoming our new Primary One boys and girls to St MacNissi’s! They have been busy exploring their new classroom, getting to know their surroundings and making a fantastic start to their school journey.
It has been lovely to see how quickly they have settled in and enjoyed taking part in lots of fun activities. We are already so proud of them and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things that they will achieve! ⭐️

We hope that everyone has had a lovely summer break.

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our pupils back to St MacNissi’s and giving a special welcome to our new Primary One boys and girls.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow and begin another exciting year together!

Uniform Swap Shop – Open Today!
Come along and help yourself to any uniform items that you may need. Our Uniform Swap Shop is open in the school hall today from 9:30am–1pm.
All items are pre-loved and in very good condition, and everyone is welcome to call in and take what they need.

We hope that all of our boys and girls are having a lovely summer break so far. It has been another busy year filled with learning, achievements and special memories, and we hope that everyone is enjoying a well deserved rest!

Primary Three and Four had a fantastic day out at Streamvale Farm! The children enjoyed meeting a wide variety of animals and taking part in lots of exciting activities. They fed goats, pigs, rabbits and other farm animals, and loved seeing the chickens roaming around the farm. One of the highlights of the day was holding the fluffy chicks and cuddling the adorable puppies. The children also learned how cows are milked and discovered many interesting facts about life on the farm.
After spending time with the animals, everyone had great fun playing in the park with their friends. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter and hands on experiences. The children had an amazing time and made lots of special memories.
A big thank you to everyone at Streamvale Farm for making their visit so enjoyable. They had a fantastic day and will be talking about their farm adventure for a long time to come!

We always have so many reasons to celebrate at our monthly Celebration Assemblies!
It is wonderful to see the talents of our boys and girls, and we love celebrating their achievements both inside and outside of school.
At our most recent celebration assembly, we celebrated the kindness of our pupils through the presentation of two very special cheques -
❤️ Children’s Heartbeat Trust, in memory of our dear Miss Campbell, raised through our ‘Run to a Mile a Day in May’ challenge and generous community donations.
💜 The Big C Foundation, presented to Mrs Rennie, thanks to the fantastic fundraising efforts of Hollie, Isla, Ettie and Keilah.

Our amazing Primary Seven boys and girls are getting ready to start their next adventure, and we could not be prouder of each and every one of them!
They have been such fantastic role models in our school and a real credit to themselves, their families and our whole St MacNissi’s community. It has been a privilege to watch them grow and achieve so much during their time with us and we will miss the fun and energy that they brought with them every day.
Wishing you all the very best of luck as you take your next steps - we know that you will all go on to do great things!
