Good afternoon 🐧

We are currently looking to recruit a qualified practitioner for a post between our nursery and out of school club.

The position is a 40hour per week contract and the successful candidate will be within the nursery environmemt from approx 9am until 2pm and then transition over to our Out of School Club where there will be a responsibility of collecting children from a local school.

The candidate must have at least an SVQ 3 or HNC childcare qualification to apply for the position.

Layla was once part of the Happy Feet gang and during her diagnoses and start of her cancer journey we helped to support her the best way we could. Please help us to help support her family at this sad and very difficult time. Something you’d never think you’d need to do is organise your child’s funeral. Even just £1 will help toward the cost of giving her the biggest beautiful send off she and her family deserve.

SMA Infant Formula and Follow-On Formula.

The safety and wellbeing of babies is our absolute priority. As a precautionary measure, Nestlé is voluntarily recalling specific batches of its SMA infant formula and follow-on formula. This is due to the potential presence of cereulide in the batches concerned.

There have been no confirmed reports of any illness associated with consumption of the products concerned. Nevertheless, out of an abundance of caution, Nestlé has decided to perform this voluntary product recall in line with their strict product quality and safety protocols. Consumers who may have these batches should not feed this product to their baby.

If you have purchased one of these batches, please share a photo of the product and the batch code via https://www.nestle.co.uk/en-gb/getintouch or by calling the careline on 0800 0 81 81 80 (UK) and they will refund you.

If you have been prescribed one of these batches listed please destroy the product and speak to your Healthcare Professional for advice on an alternative. Anyone concerned about their baby’s health should contact a healthcare professional.

All other Nestlé products and other batches of the same product that are not in the scope of this voluntary recall are safe to consume.

Batch codes can be found on the base of the tin or box for powdered formulas or the base of the outer box and on the side / top of the container for ready-to-feed formulas.

We are currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant for 2 days Monday and Wednesday, 10hours a week within our busy nursery kitchen. There maybe times we will require you to carry out more days due to holiday cover.

Preferably with a back ground of cooking for larger groups and holding a Food and Hygiene Certificate but not essential as long as you are willing to work towards the certificate and quick to learn.

🚧 Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the M74 northbound prior to Junction 8 at Larkhall, from Friday 22nd August until Friday 5th September 2025.

⛔️ This work will require overnight closures between Junctions 10 and 8 on the northbound carriageway from Friday 22nd August until Sunday 24th August 2025 and from Sunday 31st August until Thursday 4th September 2025 between 8pm and 6am each night.

❗️Daytime lane closures will also be in place on Saturday 23rd August and Tuesday 2nd September 2025 between 6am and 8pm.

🗺️ Signed diversion routes will be in place via the B7078 through Kirkmuirhill.

✅ All traffic management will be removed by 6am on Friday 5th September 2025.
