New calculator for a new term! Found it in this lovely mint colour this year.

Remember if you have any old scientific calculators that you don’t need, hand them into your high school. We are always short of a class set.

Some new Zeta Maths textbooks for Joey (p6) and Annabeth (p4) which we will use to do some maths homework 2 nights per week.

I am not really into online maths games as homework. We already have too much screen time and I think it’s too distracting from the key skills they are learning.

We have already developed good habits of sitting at the table and doing their homework efficiently. We are able to discuss what they are learning and have lots of chats about the different ways of doing some questions.

Sometimes it’s a battle but I think it’s worth it.

It was so nice yesterday to celebrate the success of my pupils in class (78% A/Bs) and tuition ( 88% A/Bs) yesterday. I treated myself to a wee cake last night to celebrate.

Also thank you for the parents who took the time to leave a lovely review. I read them all to my husband last night. (Hopefully it makes up for him not being allowed to do noisy DIY during tuition time 😆)

I am starting to fill up for next session so please get in touch quickly if you would like to join.
