After 10 wonderful years teaching piano, I'm sad to share that I'll be stepping away from teaching. I've recently been promoted in my day job, and my new hours are erratic and outside my control — which means I can no longer guarantee the reliable, consistent teaching that my pupils deserve.

This has been one of the hardest decisions I've made. Teaching has been a genuine privilege, and watching pupils grow in confidence and skill over the years — some going on to careers in music — has meant more to me than I can easily put into words.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their musical education over the last decade. It's been an honour.

At the tail end of the last academic year we celebrated with the return of our piano party — a chance for everyone to get together, listen to the talented students, then eat delicious cake.

Thank you everyone for your support. It's great to see everyone growing and rising to the challenges of their piano playing.

Fergus is always asking questions. Sometimes I think he's trying to catch me out (sometimes he does!) however, it always leads to discussions that help improve his playing.
