We are an RYA-recognised sailing school and offshore sailing adventures company based in Largs, Scotland. Our offerings include a full range of high-quality RYA sailing theory courses and practical training, catering to all skill levels. In addition, we provide offshore adventure sails and yacht charters to give you the ultimate sailing experience.

Our fleet features modern, spacious yachts with four- and five-cabin layouts, designed for both performance and comfort, ensuring an enjoyable time at sea. These yachts are available for charter from Largs or Oban, perfect for exploring Scotland’s breathtaking west coast.

For those seeking more ambitious voyages, we offer offshore sailing adventures to remote and exciting destinations such as Greenland, Iceland, the Canary Islands, South America, and even Antarctica. These expeditions are led aboard our flagship, the 70ft cutter Global Surveyor, a vessel equipped for long-range sailing and capable of tackling some of the world’s most challenging waters.

Down at the end of the world in Ushuaia, Mustamaija is loading up for Antarctica. Most berths are spoken for, but our 26th February 2027 sailing still has three places left.

Twenty-one days under sail to the West Antarctic Peninsula: Beagle Channel, Drake Passage, South Shetlands and a circuit of the Peninsula itself. Daily landings, remote bases, old wrecks, and a lot of wildlife. It’s an expedition, not a floating hotel – but you don’t need a yachtmaster ticket to join.

The course is suitable for beginners (RYA Start Yachting) as well as those working towards Competent Crew or Day Skipper, building general experience, or just wanting to enjoy a weekend of sailing.

Price includes 2 nights onboard, all onboard meals, marina fees, fuel and gas.

The sun has begun to set and there's quite a buzz around Osprey as her final preparations for her 7 month adventure begin to wind down... 🌅

She leaves Largs to head to Dublin, then on to A Coruña before enjoying an onshore and sailing blend of the Moroccan coast, before heading towards the start line of the ARC Atlantic Rally for Cruisers 2026. ⛵️

⏳ Last spot — Female sailor wanted, Gibraltar to the Canaries. 🌴☀️

One berth remains aboard our Beneteau Oceanis 45 for an October passage that takes in three very different faces of Atlantic sailing.

We depart Gibraltar and work down Morocco's Atlantic coast, calling at Tangier, Rabat, Essaouira and Agadir, before setting a course offshore for the crossing to Lanzarote in the Canaries.

It's a route that gives you the lot: the tidal gate and traffic of the Strait, coastal pilotage and souks along the Moroccan shore, and a proper ocean crossing to finish, arriving to trade winds and sunshine in the Canaries.
