Largs Karate Club

A huge well done and thank you to all our students who took part in the 2026 Largs Karate Club Championship on Sunday and to the parents and carers who supported them. A fantastic day of karate and friendship with great experience gained by all.

Massive thanks to everyone who helped organise, referee and so many other jobs too. Also to our friends at Seigō-sei Shotokan Karate for bringing students over to compete too.

On Sunday, Luke and Duncan traveled to Sunderland to represent LKC at the KUGB Northern Region Championships. Both ran into International Champions in the early rounds, but valuable competition experience gained and a fantastic day in the company of fellow karateka. Our thanks to organisers and officials for an excellent event!

A fantastic Senior Grades course with Sensei Brennan last night! A very technical session focusing on detail in Kihon and how it translates into Kata. Thoroughly enjoyed by all, our thanks as always to Sensei.
