We are absolutely delighted to announce that St George's Primary School has officially achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year.
The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust. It rewards schools for their commitment to developing sports competition across the school and the wider community. We are thrilled to see our school’s dedication recognised on such a prestigious level.

While we love a gold medal, our true pride lies in participation, resilience, effort, and inclusion. We believe every student should have the opportunity to represent their school, try something new, and experience the joy of teamwork.

This year, a massive number of our students stepped up to represent St George's. We didn't just participate; we showed up in force across an incredibly wide range of sports.

☀️ Maple Class had a fantastic day in Swanage! 🚤🍦🏖️

What a wonderful day we had enjoying the sunshine! We started our adventure with an exciting boat trip to the magnificent Old Harry Rocks, where we admired the stunning coastline. After working up an appetite, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream from Tilly's before visiting the fascinating Swanage Lifeboat Station to learn about the incredible work of the RNLI.

To finish off our day, we spent some time on the beach, building, playing and making the most of the beautiful weather. It was a day full of laughter, learning and memories.

Much fun was had in the sun! ☀️😊

Thank you Swanage Lifeboat Station and Swanage Sea Fishing for providing some fabulous experiences for our children.

What a wonderful time we had meeting new families at last week's Pop in & Play! 🎉 The energy was absolutely fantastic, and we loved seeing everyone connect and have fun together. Because it went so well, we're thrilled to announce we're making this a regular thing!

Starting Thursday 10th September, we'll be opening our doors every Thursday afternoon for Pop in & Play sessions. 🚪✨ It's the perfect opportunity for you to spend quality time with your little ones, explore our pre-school space, and get to know other families in our community. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Our Oak pupils are excited to invite you to their special Make £10 Grow Sale, where they will be selling products they have designed and created themselves!

The children have worked incredibly hard to plan, design and make their products, and this is their opportunity to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial skills. We would love for families to come along, support their efforts and see what they have created.
