Meet our Dance Teacher, Smt. Rohini Priya Pari.

Rohini is a passionate dancer, who strongly believes that dance is the true reflection of one own self. She currently resides at Slough, UK.

Rohini is a part of Berks Indian Cultural Centre, nurturing quality Indian Art education in the Slough & Langley area. She was trained in bharathanatyam under Smt. Veena Kannan, Kala Pradarshini, Chennai.

“Dance is the best thing that has ever happened to me. With every lesson, I allow myself to be affected which has always helped me to evolve as a Dancer. For when I dance, I turn into a better version of me!”, she says.

Meet our music teacher, Sangeetha Vidwan: Thiruvarur L. Kothandapani

An eminent Violinist from South India, who hails from a family of musicians from Thiruvarur, the birth place of the Music Trinities. He had his musical training under his father Kalaimamani Thiruvarur Latchappa Pillai and continued his advanced training under the expert guidance of Shri. Sikkal Baskaran and Shri. Pakkal Ramadas, who is a disciple of Shri. Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. He graduated as Sangeetha Vidwan with First Class Honours.

Sri Kothandapani, a gifted and talented performer, an excellent composer and also a brilliant Teacher, who has established himself as an outstanding musician through his dedication to Carnatic music for more than two decades.

Sri Kothandapani is the founder and Director of Trinity School of Carnatic Music, a very well-known music institution, which has centres all over London. He is the founder of Kala Ranjani, an organisation that promotes young musicians by providing opportunity to perform. He also conducts an Indian orchestra, “Nadha Manjari” which has forty young musicians and “Rasika Ranjani” a Junior Orchestra, both have already given numerous performances to the delight of many music lovers. He is a very popular performer in the UK and Europe as both a soloist and accompanist at several musical concerts.
