It's been busy day today! While years 7 and 9 were enjoying their Downs walk, students in Year 8 and Year 10 were taking part in Aspirations Day, a careers event involving professionals from a wide range of industries. A huge thank you to all the employers who joined us to share their experiences, career paths, and invaluable advice. Giving our students a glimpse into the world of work is key to helping them decided next steps and shape their own futures.🙏🙏

The winning tutor group of a year 7 tug of war competition (well done 7B1!) got to face all the year 7 tutors in a final tug of war. Embarrassingly for the tutors- it was all over very quickly!🫣🙌⭐️💪

Student Leadership
A huge thank you to our incredible students who braved the heat for our student leadership workshop of the year. We are absolutely thrilled by how many of our lovely students are eager to step up and make a difference, their fantastic energy and enthusiasm for leadership promise a brilliant year ahead.
We were also blown away by the excellent and thoughtful presentations made by our Year 10 students stating why they should be selected as Year 11 Prefects - the level of confidence and preparation was so prevalent in every student’s talk that we just had to select them all. This means that we will have a larger number of prefects than is usual but the leadership team will work hard to challenge these superstars with duties and focus, so that they are excellent role models across the school. Student leaders will be presented with their silver and gold ties during our End of Year Celebration Assembly.⭐⭐⭐
