Little Lambs Nursery

Little Lambs Nursery Little Lambs Nursery in Cockerham, Lancaster. Little Lambs opened in September 2015. The opening hours are 7.30-5.30. Monday-Friday. All year round.

We have had two Ofsted inspections since opening, receiving an overall Good in both reports and an Outstanding in Personal development, behaviour and welfare which is our main focus at Little Lambs Nursery. We are a small and friendly nursery Ofsted reported that the parents view of the nursery is that it "is like an extended family and the care is like that of a parent". We only offer 20 places for children from aged 9 months to primary school age. The sessions available are;
Morning Session 8:45-12:45
School day Session 8:45-3:15
All day Session 7.30-5:30

The indoor room is organised into areas of continuous provision which will be regularly enhanced with different resources to meet the individual needs and interests of all the children. There is a separate area for younger children and also a nap area. We also have access to the large hall for physical activities and a kitchen for baking and cooking activities. Attached to the nursery is a small and secure outdoor area and we also have access to the playing field and the playground across the large car park that we share with Cockerham school. 2nd place! A huge well done to everyone involved, and a massive thank you to all our wonderful mums and dads who helped make the trailer look absolutely fantastic for the children once again this year! 💛💫👏

A special thankyou to the Little Lambs Nursery team for giving up your time time to come look after the children while we take part.

We absolutely love being part of Cockerham Field Day and the best part is seeing the big smiles on the childrens faces ☺️
