Recently, Coniston Class enjoyed developing their listening and attention skills by following simple adult-led instructions to make a traditional Latin American drink called Chicha.

Pupils worked hard to follow each step, becoming increasingly independent and requiring less adult support as their confidence grew.

To finish the activity, pupils carried out an act of kindness by delivering their homemade drink to classes across the school and sharing their work with friends.

We have been made aware of this local charity that provides mobility support for the great outdoors.

Our talented FE performers took to The Rake Stage at The Dukes this week, delivering a stunning performance of ‘One Day Like This’.
They have worked tirelessly, showing real dedication to perfect every moment – and it truly paid off. We couldn’t be prouder of how confidently they performed!
Our students also represented the school at a partner event held at The Dukes Gallery. They conducted themselves brilliantly, showcasing not only their creativity and talent but also their professionalism, welcoming attendees of the event, serving refreshments, and selling some of our FE Enterprise Products.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to come along and support the Friends of the Loyne Summer Fayre on Saturday. We are thrilled to share that your enthusiasm and generosity on the day helped the event raise an impressive £2.229.04!

It was such a fantastic day which would not have been made possible without the efforts of the Friends of The Loyne Committee and all of our wonderful staff, who put such a lot of creativity and effort in to making each stall a success.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our musicians who gave up their time to provide fabulous live music across the whole day. What a treat! Our gratitude goes out to Molly Warburton Baybeat Street Band and The Hound Dogz Duo.

We know everyone who came along would agree that our very own Sing and Sign choir, led by our wonderful Speech and Language Therapist Beth, gave an exceptional performance to remember! Thank you to everyone who supported our young people and sang and signed along. A fabulous collective celebration of our school.

The atmosphere, blessed by the weather, was electric - such a wonderful day.
