As an employer, you could get £1,000 per apprentice for aged 16-18, £2,000 per apprentice as an SME for ages 16-24 and other grants of up to £3,000 if the employee hits certain criteria.

This Level 1 course in TIG Welding focusses on using a high frequency TIG torch and manually fed filler wire to produce a range of joints in the vertical position, to be inspected via destructive testing.

Covering the basics of setting up, maintaining your equipment to tacking, welding various joint configurations and positions, you will develop skills, knowledge and confidence to tackle basic fabrication requirements whether at home or in the workplace.

English & Maths courses are free if you do not already have a GCSE Grade 4/C. If you already have GCSE Grade 4/C and wish to retake the cost is £500.
