Drama Factory

Drama Factory Teaching drama to young people since 1990 in the Lancaster and Morecambe district. The Drama Factory was founded in 1990 by David Ash and Ginny Scott.

Providing classes for children and adults, we aim to introduce our pupils to performance skills. Using improvisation, mime, movement, voice and speech work we help to build confidence and communication skills which are useful in many areas of life not only drama. Our classes help increase the ability to communicate with confidence and success. We all need to be able to speak clearly and to present ourselves in a confident and friendly manner. We give our pupils the opportunity to sit the prestigious L.A.M.D.A. examinations at our own local centre, and many of our students get involved in a wide range of local and national events. A Showcase Performance is mounted occasionally and a week long Summer School presented annually.
