Thank you!
Thanks to Hayley Clarke for all her help on the PTA over the years.
"Pupils are immensely proud to attend this calm, happy school. They behave impeccably during lessons and at social times." OFSTED 2025 Enjoy!
Welcome to our brand new page, showcasing some of the amazing (and outstanding) things that happen in our school. We want to celebrate what happens in our village school and share them with you. We would love to hear your positive comments, but please do not name any of the children. All comments will be checked, so please think carefully before you write! As this is a new venture, please bear with us while we get our heads around it.

Arran Paintings and Writing
Beech Class children painted Scottish landscapes in the style of Scottish artist Jolomo. After visiting Arran, they painted the view of Holy Isle from the Centre in the same style. They also wrote spells about Arran in the style of “The Lost Words” by Robert McFarlane as we were gifted a copy of this book by the Centre.

Lake District Trip
The whole school has had an amazing trip to the Lakes. We did lots of different forest school activities, explored the area, paddled, had a ferry tour of Windermere, a play in the playpark and even met some ducks!

Church Visit
Chestnut Class had a great visit to St.Marks Chapel in Nether Kellet this afternoon. We were visiting in connection with our RE focus this term on Christian symbols in our Christianity unit. The children were well behaved and enjoyed the singing and stories that Reverend Peter Hamborg told them.
