Good morning, thank you all for coming along last night. Thank you to our lovely hostesses and a special thanks to Roy for generously sharing his knowledge and guiding us through the art of watercolour painting.
It was wonderful to see everyone’s work and the unique interpretations each person brought. We really are a talented bunch 🌳 🎨 💚

What a truly lovely evening we had at our November Christmas crafts evening!
It was lovely to see so many of you,
everyone threw themselves into the Christmas crafting spirit and the designs you created were full of imagination, colour, and festive cheer. It’s such a joy to see what can happen when a room full of creative hands and merry hearts come together. 🎄💫

To keep the magic going, we’re inviting you to a special gathering at the village hall on Wednesday 10th December, 7–9pm where your beautiful pieces will be showcased and ready to collect. Expect warm drinks, mince pies and a gentle soundtrack of festive tunes to set the scene. ☕🥧🎶

Thank you again to everyone who joined us, and to Sarah Walkley for guiding such an inspiring fused glass session.
Can’t wait to celebrate your creativity all over again! 🌟

Fabulous day out to Campfield Market, Manchester and RHS Bridgewater Glow. Although Campfield has only been open a short while there were some lovely handmade items in the Artisan space and fabulous food. Such a buzz! Bridgewater Glow was definitely the highlight of the day despite the downpour trying to put us off; but we are northern girls and came prepared! Thanks to all who came and made it a memorable day.

Dolphiniums members attended the busy Rememberance Day service at Dolphinholme St Marks. Our new President, Jan Huddleston, laid the wreath which had been knitted and crocheted by a merry group of crafters. It is now hanging inside the porch for all to see. Thank you to all who gave their time and skill.
We included three special poppies - purple commemorating animals who were killed in action, white for civilian deaths e.g. ARPs, fire service etc, and the large centre ‘poppy, made in the WI colours.

A BIG thank you to all the ladies who helped to craft our poppy wreath. It looks absolutely gorgeous. We will lay it on the memorial in the churchyard at St Marks on Sunday 9th November, please join us at 10.45am.

This Sunday 28 September at 11am St Marks will be holding a 10th anniversary of Dolphiniums church service. It would be great if all our members could come along and celebrate with your family and friends. There are plans in the making for a village choir and hopefully some of our members will join this whole village non-secular venture.

🌿🎨 Eco Painting 🎨🌿

Last night’s meeting was a real treat! We were joined by the lovely Cath, who introduced us to the beautiful world of eco painting.

She gave a fascinating talk on the process, followed by a live demo showing us how to use leaves and natural materials to create unique, nature inspired prints. Then it was our turn to get creative! We each made our own eco masterpieces. 🍃💚

It was a fun, relaxing evening with lots of laughter, learning, and a real sense of connection with nature.

Thank you to everyone who came and especially to Cath for sharing her talents with us! 🌼✨

Let’s make this our best stall yet! 🎂🥧✨
