We are thrilled to share the wonderful 😆experience that our MiM students had recently! They were invited to attend a traditional British afternoon tea at the beautiful St John's Church, Ellel, where they had the pleasure of listening to Father Abbott's insightful speech about the origin of Easter and the church's rich history.
It was an enriching experience for all involved, and a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn more about the culture of Lancaster and Galgate. After the tea, the cohort played "Easter egg hunting" and "Hold tight" games, which added to the fun and excitement of the day. To end the event, everyone joined together in song, creating a truly unforgettable afternoon.
We believe that this experience will be a cherished memory for all of our MiM students, and we want to express our gratitude to the members of the church team, the MiM programme, and the MiM Council for their support. Without their dedication and commitment, this project would not have been possible.

Lancaster University Postgraduate Open Day
Dr Ruilin, the Director of MiM, gave a presentation on the specifics of the MiM programme. The MiM ambassadors, Aman, Jack, Yannick, and Zihan, represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. Through their individual experiences, they showcased the diverse perspectives that are essential to the MiM programme.
The MiM programme has already proved to be a great success for current participants experiencing a wealth of personal and professional growth. This has been met with great enthusiasm, and it is hoped that the positive experiences of current participants will serve as a source of motivation for those who aspire to take part in the future.😄

Looking back on last week's research project workshop, wherein the RAs exchanged ideas and reflected on the research conducted so far. 🥳
Under the guidance and leadership of Dr. Ruilin Zhu, the research assistants have been working on various digital transformation projects in a variety of fields, such as hospitality, churches, and local governments.

Our guests for tomorrow are Ms. Megan and Ms. Rosie, who have exceptional experience and expertise in the public sector.
Megan, Senior Policy Advisor, has led projects on probation, teachers, commercial capability in the public sector and the relationship between the citizen and the state, since working at The Open Innovation Team.
Our another guest, Rosie, Operations Manager has worked on projects looking at radicalisation, commercial capability in the public sector and levels of democracy in other parts of the world.

Mr Ian Nolan, Chief Content Officer of Manchester United is joining us for this week's MiM Lounge. He is an entrepreneur, inventor, speaker and fan.
Ian was the former head of Yahoo Sports and Vice President, digital head of Motorsport Network.
He is an expert and best in class at helping companies find and execute growth and monetisation opportunities.
We are excited to hear more from him.
All the Manchester United fans join us on Friday, 11th February!
