Lancaster Luneside Childcare

Lancaster Luneside Childcare OFSTED registered Childminder, providing a home from home, comfortable and stimulating childcare environment.

I am a OFSTED registered Childminder offering a home from home, caring, comfortable and stimulating childcare environment. With reading area, crafts, kitchen area and a generous supply of toys and games. Children have access to a learning computer, musical instruments and outdoor small pet enclosure. I plan learning activities and themed weeks created around the interests of the individual child. As well as themes reflecting the time of year, seasons and special occasions. My aim is to nurture learning, development and progress while putting the needs and happiness of the child first. I am situated in a semi-rural location, within easy reach of parks, wildlife walks, an orchard and woodland trails. I am also within walking distance of the railway station, the city centre and commuter links. My home is in an enclosed courtyard, with off road parking. I have a safe, secure and enclosed rear garden with outdoor play equipment, wormery, ladybird and mini bugs hotel and bird feeders. I grow fruit and vegetables in the garden and encourage the children to get involved. I have outings to the many facilities around my home as well as the library, playgroups and trips. I provide a notice board for parents and information on their child's progress and achievement's daily. I have many years’ experience working with children, and have 2 children of my own. I have a certificate in family and community care, have worked as a nursery officer as well as being trained by Homestart as a family support worker. My objective is to work alongside parents to ensure their child’s needs are met and you are comfortable with approaching me with any additional requirements.
