Want to learn a new skill this term? Register now for our Chinese Calligraphy classes.

Chinese calligraphy, shū fǎ, is "the rules of writing Han characters". Chinese painting is known today as "guó huà". They emphasize motion and are charged with a dynamic life. As the oldest continuous artistic traditions in the world, calligraphy and painting today are known and learned as important parts of traditional Chinese culture.

Classes take place on Tuesdays from 6:15pm - 7:45pm from 13th October until 8th December.

Registration is open for our Family Chinese Classes!

Aimed at children aged 6-11, these classes offer the opportunity to learn Chinese language and culture with plenty of practical arts and crafts.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to come along and take part too, making this a great activity for quality family time as well as learning.

Try the intricate art of papercutting - learn the history of Chinese papercutting, methods and techniques through making your own!

Chinese Calligraphy

Learn the beautiful script styles and basic principles of calligraphy through a guided writing practice.
