Mr Brine is running the London Marathon!
That's right, our very own Mr Brine is in training to take on the 26.2 miles of the world's most popular marathon race, to raise funds for the Salvation Army.
To help with his fundraising... we are bringing back Story Time with Mr Brine!
In return for a donation on his JustGiving page, Mr Brine will dedicate a video of your child's favourite story to them, with the aim of reaching a marathon of 26 stories- one for each mile. If there is enough donations, he may even convert to kilometres and go for for 42!
To support Mr Brine in this way, simply follow the JustGiving link below, make a donation, then comment on this post with the story your would like to see (also include your child's first name if you would like that in the video)
The videos will be posted on Facebook; all donations welcome!
If the story is a less common one, Mr Brine may need to borrow your copy of the book!

Discovery Vine opened 20 years ago today! We were going to have a party but we can’t do that at the moment so we would like to say Thank You to everyone who has worked for Discovery Vine since we opened in 2001 !!!

Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been up to over the last few weeks 😋
We’ve done lots of activities to promote fine motor skills within both bubbles, including sewing pencil cases, Mother’s Day bouquets and a cylindrical tube challenge! 😁🌼

A lovely end to the half term filled with lots of positivity and kindness, with the added bonus of snow!🤩☃️

A fun filled start to the new year for everyone! 🥳
KS1 have been busy enjoying lots of winter inspired crafts and games ⛄️
KS2 have done lots of experimenting, with digging for geodes 🪨 and a STEM activity with food colouring, milk and washing up liquid!🧑‍🔬 We’ve added a video in the comments of the results from their experimenting 😁
