🖤🤍❤️ Morecambe Summer School 2026 ❤️🤍🖤

Two incredible performances at The Winter Gardens yesterday, bringing five amazing days of hard work, dancing and fun at Morecambe Summer School to a close! ✨

19 of our talented students worked alongside industry professionals to create yet another outstanding show, and we couldn’t be prouder of them all. ❤️

One of the most special things about this week is seeing our students not only dance alongside their Dance Hub friends, but make memories and friendships with dancers from so many other local schools too. No competition just hard work, encouragement and lots of fun! 🫶🏼

Thank you to all of the teachers, assistants and chaperones for making it all possible!

A very special mention to our four award winners:

🏆 Lucy P — Full Scholarship
🏆 Thea — Full Scholarship
🏆 Max — Cathy Lloyd Memorial Shield
🏆 Luca — Lily & Joe Harrison Memorial Cup

How special to have your hard work recognised after such a full and fulfilling week. You should all be incredibly proud! 🌟

And finally… a little full-circle moment as we celebrate 4 years of The Dance Hub Lancaster 🥹🫶🏼

🌟 ISTD EXAM CONGRATULATIONS! 🌟

A huge congratulations to all of our students who took their ISTD Modern, Tap and Ballet exams at the end of term! What a way to round off the year with two days of Modern & Tap exams and two days of Ballet exams, marking the culmination of months of hard work, dedication and commitment, alongside everything else you have achieved this year 🫶🏼

Exams are about so much more than the marks on a results sheet. They give our students a goal to work towards, teach them how to stay committed when something feels challenging, build confidence and resilience, and provide a wonderful sense of achievement when they finally reach that goal. These are skills that extend far beyond the dance studio and are an incredible learning curve for real life 🙌🏼

We are incredibly proud of every single one of you for stepping into that exam room and giving it your all 👏🏼

A huge thank you to our amazing teachers for all of their hard work, preparation, encouragement and dedication in getting the students exam-ready. It really is a team effort 💛

🌟 Congratulations to the following students who achieved 90 marks and over: 🌟

90 Eliza Grade 1 Tap
90 Libby Grade 2 Tap
91 Penny Grade 1 Tap
91 Anabelle Grade 2 Tap
92 Molly B Grade 2 Tap
92 Catherine Grade 4 Modern
94 Bonnie Grade 1 Tap
94 Bella B Grade 4 Modern
95 Matilda H Grade 1 Tap

What an incredible achievement, you should all be so proud of yourselves!

Well done, Dance Hub! We couldn’t be prouder! 💛

A huge WELL DONE to every dancer who competed with us this year. Whether you’ve been part of the team all season or stepped onto the competition stage for the first time, you should be incredibly proud! ❤️
Competition isn’t the whole of what we do at The Dance Hub, but it gives our dancers so many amazing skills — confidence, resilience, independence, discipline, performing under pressure and, most importantly… HAVING FUN! 💃🏼

Seeing you enjoy yourselves on and off the stage, supporting your teammates and cheering on friends, is something we are incredibly proud of.

And to our amazing parents — thank you for everything behind the scenes 🫶🏼

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL! 🏆✨

What a way to finish an incredible competition year. 💛
