Want to find a function but not quite sure which one will fulfill your needs?! Hit Shift F3 and open up the "Insert Function" dialogue box. You can add a brief description of what you need and it'll also tell you how to use the formula! This is a great tip for beginners and people who like to teach themselves 🙏

Removing the auto calculate function in Excel can have many benefits. The main one being speed! If you have a spreadsheet with lots of complex formulas, charts and pivot tables in, it may get sluggish. Disabling the auto calculate can really help in these situations. But do not fear... You can re-calculate the whole workbook by simply pressing F9 🙌

On occasion, you'll pick up a spreadsheet that somebody else has created. It's not always immediately clear which cells contain values and which contain formulas. Use this handy shortcut to toggle between showing values and formulas in Excel 👏

Why manually select format painter when you can use the keyboard shortcut?! As ever, if you're using an ALT based shortcut, make sure you press each key individually and don't hold them all down at once! 😉
