• Early Years Practitioner
• Shifts between 8am–6pm
• Working as part of our friendly and supportive nursery team
• Providing high-quality care, learning and experiences for our little people

💗 We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️Qualified with an HNC/ SVQ LEVEL 3 in childcare or equivalent

☀️ Welcome to Our Sunshine Room (0–2 Years) ☀️

Are you looking for a warm, caring and nurturing environment where your little one can flourish? At Little People Nursery, our Sunshine Room is specially designed for babies and toddlers aged 0–2 years, providing a safe and stimulating space where children can learn, grow and thrive through play.

Our experienced and caring team support children to develop confidence and independence from the very beginning. Through everyday routines such as handwashing, toothbrushing, self-feeding and making choices, children are encouraged to build important life skills at their own pace.

Health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We create strong, nurturing relationships that help children feel safe, secure and valued, supporting them to develop confidence, resilience and a positive sense of self.

Every day is filled with opportunities for discovery and learning. Through stories, songs, rhymes, sensory exploration and meaningful interactions, we nurture children’s communication and language skills. Creativity flourishes through messy play, arts and crafts, music, movement, role play and exploration, allowing children to express themselves and develop their curiosity about the world around them.

At Little People Nursery, we are committed to ensuring every child is respected, included and supported to reach their full potential. Our practice is guided by the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child), Scotland’s SHANARRI wellbeing indicators and GIRFEC principles.

Using our “Together We Can and We Will” Curriculum, we carefully plan for each child’s individual interests, strengths and next steps, creating meaningful learning experiences that are tailored to their unique needs and stage of development.
