We also said goodbye to some other special people. 🥹 Clare gave them their final school reports then our lovely Linda and Sandra hung up their SHS hats, after many, many years of service; Linda almost 42 years, Sandra 30. They will both be very much missed and we wish them a healthy, happy retirement. ❤️❤️

At the assembly we celebrated Harris’ time at SHS, sharing fabulous, fun filled memories with his friends and family. Amy made an emotional speech about her time teaching him and the young people used switches to deliver messages saying their favourite things about Harris. Calum our Music Therapist, wrote and recorded a song about Harris for us to sing to him. It’s fair to say there were a few tears! ❤️🥹

We ended with a fabulous Leaver Assembly. It was a joyous event with family and friends, where we celebrated our young people’s achievements, including participation in Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, Reading Schools Silver Award, JAS award and an array of SQA awards. 🏆🏅🥈

The end of term was super busy. We played outside in the sun and participated in lots of World Cup and Commonwealth Games activities. We also wished a fond farewell to Laura, one of our class teachers. We will miss her and wish her well in her new post. 😎⚽️❤️
