Hmmmmm not what I expected but I love the ivory shade. These were the centres of the red Dahlias after the petals had been removed.

Really happy with these results as after reading numerous books and posts it seemed you only ever get yellow and orange from Dahlias no matter what colour! The sample on the right had a little alum added to the pot and definitely looks pink to me. π

Had a lovely chill day and managed to get to some of my fabrics. Needed to create and made some hand stitched soft sculptured botanicals. Love the calming rhythm of slow stitching. π

Just thought I would update you as Iβve not posted for a while.
I started to pack up my studio in summer as Iβm in the process of relocating to Wales.
Things are a lot slower than anticipated as should of moved beginning of October.
So Iβm now in limbo, bored, fed up with waiting and frustrated π
Canβt wait till I can unpack all my boxes and have space to design, create and make again.
Till then Iβm trying to keep boredom at bay with a alpaca fleece π.
