A big thank you to all the groups that have bought the equipment today lovely doing business with you ladies! Just to say we now only have the two outside benches and the large metal cabinet also some leaflet holders for £4 if anyone is interested.

A big thank you to everyone that supported, and helped with our sale, regrettably a deal with another setting did not move forward. So we now have more items for sale that previously were not included in the sale at the village hall. Please private message for further details.

We are having a sale of small and large equipment as well as toys. Any surrounding preschools, nurseries, and childminders we have a section of equipment including, inside trolleys wood, and metal, outside trolleys, tables, chairs, indoor climbing frame and safety mats. Role play panels, of door, window, walls, wigwam, outside benches. Also outside wooden shed. Various construction, small word, cars, train sets, books, puzzles. Various outdoor ride ons and trikes. We have to bring you all the sad news that wise owls has had to close.
We would like to thank all the parents, staff, committee members, the community of Lacock and beyond that has supported us over many years. It’s been a joy to care, nurture and educate all of the children. I hope their time at wise owls will be remembered fondly.

The children enjoyed their sports picnic on Tuesday all receiving a medal! We visited the abbey grounds on Wednesday and joined in some of the summer of play activities. The last day of term we had a visit from author Neil Griffiths, who entertained us and willow class with his hilarious story telling, puppets, and props. Finally in the afternoon we said goodbye to our school leavers, we wish them all the best on their future at school. Everybody have a wonderful summer and see you in September.

We have been busy builders this week constructing and exploring different materials to build with and creating junk models.

We have had fun role playing pirates making boats and floating them in the brook. The children made treasure maps and pirate potion.

The children were busy being princesses, kings and Knights, making crowns and dresses up. We experimented with floating and sinking, and conditioned the princesses hair. They made some lovely Father’s Day cards too. A happy Father’s Day to all our daddy’s and granddads!
