You don’t need a holiday, you might need to reset.

When you’re constantly rushing from one responsibility to the next, it’s easy to think, “I just need to get away.”

And sometimes you do!

But if you’re already running on empty, a week away doesn’t necessarily address what’s underneath the exhaustion.

You still have to return to your workload, pressure of life, and same thoughts.

Mindfulness will give you a way to pause before burning out, helping you notice what’s happening in your mind and body, rather than simply pushing through it.

You don’t always need to escape your life.

Sometimes, you need to learn how to properly switch off within it.

If you’re guilty of rarely allowing yourself to switch off, get in touch today and see how we can help train your mind to get back to where it deserves to be.

I used to think I needed to stop overthinking to finally feel at peace.

The more I tried to push thoughts away, the louder they seemed to become!

Mindfulness will tell us it’s not about pushing thoughts away to the back of our minds, it’s about becoming more aware of why our emotions and reactions are happening.

Send this to a loved one to let them know your thinking of them.

Through practice, you can start to decide what happens next instead of having your mind lead you down a rabbit hole of overthinking.

If your mind constantly feels on, start noticing why and stop trying to fight it so hard.

If you find yourself constantly trying to keep yourself busy because you’re scared of what your thoughts may present, then follow my page for help.

When our loved ones pass away, it can be easy to distract ourselves and keep busy.

We don’t always want to accept what’s happened, so we keep moving, keep working and avoid giving ourselves time to sit with our thoughts and emotions.

But grief doesn’t disappear just because we keep ourselves busy.

The reality is, the longer we leave those feelings unprocessed, the longer it can take to work through them.

Giving yourself time to grieve isn’t weakness. It’s part of healing.

You don’t have to rush yourself through something that deserves time, patience and compassion. 🤍

Sometimes, the warning signs of burnout are easy to overlook.

You’re constantly tired, even after resting.
Small things suddenly feel overwhelming.
You’re more irritable than usual.
You can’t switch your mind off.
You struggle to concentrate.
You stop enjoying things you normally love.
You feel like you’re running on empty, but you keep pushing through.

You tell yourself you’re fine because you’re still functioning, but the longer you ignore those signs, the harder it can be to find your way back to feeling like yourself.

Burnout isn’t something you can fix by simply taking a day off. Your mind and body may need time, awareness and the right tools to recover.

Recognising the signs early matters.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re running on empty lately, don’t wait until your body forces you to stop.

Save this as a reminder to check in with yourself — and send it to someone who might be quietly struggling too. 🤍

Your family doesn’t need a perfect mum. They need one who knows when she’s overwhelmed.

It’s easy for us mums to feel like we can never truly switch off, and before we know it, overwhelm can start to take hold.

Suddenly, our family might be wondering, “What’s got Mum so stressed?” and sometimes, we might not even know ourselves. 😆

With life’s responsibilities and our natural instinct to look after the people we love, we can forget that we need looking after too.

Mindfulness teaches us to notice what’s happening within us before those feelings take over.

That moment matters of calm matters.

It’s not about never feeling overwhelmed. It’s about becoming aware of what’s happening and choosing how you respond.

With exam results being released today, and as a new school year approaches, it’s natural for children (and parents!) to feel a mixture of excitement, nerves and uncertainty. 🎒

Having been trained to teach mindfulness to both children and teams, and with first-hand experience of these environments, I understand how quickly emotions can build.

For children especially, it can be difficult to recognise what they’re feeling, let alone know how to manage it.

Mindfulness gives us simple, practical tools to recognise thoughts and emotions, learning to respond rather than react. 🧠

The benefits can extend far beyond the classroom.

The ability to manage stress, understand emotions and approach situations with a calmer mind are skills that children can carry with them through school, friendships, exams, relationships, work and everyday life.

When we as parents learn to pause and manage our own emotions, we can also create a calmer environment for our children to grow.

Reach out today through message or the link in my bio to discover how we can help introduce mindfulness into our everyday lives.

With exam results being released today and a new school year just around the corner, it’s natural for children (and parents!) to feel a mixture of excitement, nerves and uncertainty. 🎒

When emotions are moving quickly, it can be difficult for us to know what we’re feeling, let alone how to manage it.

New teachers, friendships, subjects, increased responsibilities, revision and exams can all bring their own pressures.

Mindfulness gives us simple, practical tools to pause, breathe, recognise thoughts and respond rather than react.

With regular practice, these skills can help develop greater self-awareness, focus, resilience and confidence when facing life’s challenging moments.

The ability to manage stress, stay present, understand emotions and approach situations with a calmer mind are skills that children can carry with them through school, friendships, exams, relationships, work and everyday life.

This isn’t just for children. When we as parents learn to pause and manage our own emotions, we can also create a calmer environment for our children to grow.

What if the walk you take today could help quiet the noise in your mind?

Slow your steps. Notice your breath. Feel your feet on the ground. Let your mind catch up with your body.

Mindfulness doesn’t have to mean sitting still for an hour. Sometimes, it starts with simply slowing down.

If you’re feeling stretched, overwhelmed or constantly “on”, a mindfulness session can give you the space to pause, reset and reconnect.

✨ Ready to slow down? Book your mindfulness session today through the link in my bio.
