This morning a group of children went for a walk to feed the ducks at the local park.
The children got very excited when the ducks came towards them and couldn't wait to feed them as they got closer giggling to each other as they 'quacked'. 🦆

This morning our Little Bears children visited the supermarket to purchase their favourite fruits. 🥭🥝🍌🍑
The children will be using their purchases to make fruit smoothies and kebabs as they continue learning about healthy eating!

Today our Owls children took a trip on the train to Delamere Forest to take part in a Gruffalo trail!! 🐍🦉🐭

This morning our Rabbits children went on a scavenger hunt in the local woods to see what they could find and identify of their list.

Scavenger hunts help children grow by combining active physical play with smart thinking skills. They build problem-solving, boost language use, teach teamwork, and encourage Children to explore nature while having fun. 🔎🍃🪱 🌳🐞🐛🐝

This morning our Big Bears children enjoyed a visit to Knutsford Library where they were able to choose some of their favourite story books to enjoy reading with their friends. 📚📖

Reading books with young children builds vital language skills, sparks brain growth, and creates strong emotional bonds. Sharing stories from birth helps children learn new words, understand how sentences work, and feel secure, setting a solid foundation for future learning and school readiness.

This morning out Little Bears children enjoyed taking part in a gardening session, where they helped to plant flowers to create colourful hanging baskets! 🌷🌼🌺

Today we celebrated World Elephant Day with a trip to the Heath. The children helped to make an 'Elephant House' shelter which was the perfect den to sit inside for story time. Once hearing about 'Elmer' the patchwork elephant, the children created a giant piece of art work together before enjoying a picnic in the shelter.

Pirate day 🏴‍☠️🦜☠
At nursery today we have celebrated 'International Pirate Month'.
The children came to nursery dressed up as pirates, searched for treasure, walked the plank and junk modelled a Pirate Ship! ⚓

This morning our Hedgehog children enjoyed a Forest School session with Sarah at The Heath. ☀️🌳🪵
Each child took it in turns to climb and explore the different trees and explore their surroundings.
By supporting children with climbing trees it allows them to develop their physical growth, ability to manage risks and their own self confidence.
