Officers in Dumfries and Galloway are appealing for information to help trace 44-year-old Piotr Klusek.

Piotr was last seen on Wednesday, 2 September, 2026, at Glasgow Central Station taking a taxi service to Glentrool arriving around 5.30pm.

He is described as being medium build, has a beard and was wearing a black checked jacket with zip and carrying a small cross body bag.

Sergeant Richard Davidson said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Piotr who has not been seen for a few days.

“Anyone who recognises him or knows where he is should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3876 of 4 September, 2026.”

🌳~ Said the ancient forests to the trees,

🌿”You are so much a part of me, that without you, I cease to be, still, you are not all of me.
I wish you could see me as I am, the fullness of me, from the rich soil I've become that is the grounds of this rare earth, to the fresh air I create that adds so much to the atmosphere of this world.
🙏Each one of you is important and worthwhile, unique, beautiful and so very much more than just one of many. You are me as I am you. Together we bend with the winds, give shade during the heat of the day, provide warmth and shelter, food, joy and beauty to those we share this world with. You are loved and honored and appreciated."

I wish people could see themselves,
As the forest sees the trees,
And, I wish we could,
See the forest through the trees.

🙏I love teaching individuals how to weave their own Willow Dragonfly. It brings a smile to my face to see how proud everyone is of their finished piece.
The workshop at Vibe75 in Newton Stewart this Saturday was lovely. Such a great space to teach this craft.
All participants enjoyed the workshop and got really creative, crafting some beautiful Dragonflies to take home.
😍I have already received pictures of dragonflies proudly in place in their gardens
🙏Thank you to all who attended and to Newton Stewart Initiative for letting me hire Vibe 75.

Is your walk leader/outdoor experience leader qualified & competent? I am seeing a few women’s outdoor therapy events advertised atm & just wanted to make people aware there is a huge difference to a qualified, experienced walk leader, & a mindfulness coach/forest bathing instructor.
If the event involves a walk in the countryside, particularly if it is remote, or on tricky trails like waterfall paths, or mountain ranges, organisers, in my opinion, should be prepared, skilled & trained to cope with those terrains and managing a group in them.
Also consider how many people they are taking. If more than 14, I would be worried, even less in the mountains.
Qualified walking professionals usually are members of the Mountain Training Association (MTA), look for that before booking anything. Or ask the right questions before committing to an event.
Sure they might have insurance, but are they going to be competent out there if something happens?
My training was pretty tough and time consuming, & requires CPD training to maintain. A good outdoor instructor has trained for all sorts of scenarios, has a 2 day outdoor first aid certification, has comprehensive insurance, & knows how to manage a group well.
Get out there with a professional instructor & have a great experience ❤️🥾🙏

🍯Starting to prepare and stock up on a few cupboard staples. One being fruit vinegar 😋
🍶Wherever there has been wine, there has been vinegar, its sharp-tongued twin. Vinegar is one of history's happiest culinary accidents. Who would have thought that sour wine (literally, "vin aigre") would play such an important role in all the world's great cuisines
📖There are records of vinegar going back thousands of years. Hippocrates mentions its medicinal properties in the fifth century BC. The Greeks used it to preserve food – very important in the days before refrigeration.
🫐Blackberry & Elderberry are my go to for this. I use it to drizzle over cake, ice-cream and also over grilled halloumi. It is also good to benefit from the anti-viral properties of elderberry as we head toward the winter months.
500g Blackberries
500g Elderberry
600ml cider vinegar or white-wine vinegar
Granulated sugar

👩‍🍳Put the fruit in a bowl and crush lightly with a wooden spoon. Add the vinegar, cover and leave to steep for four to five days, stirring occasionally. Pour the fruit and vinegar into a scalded jelly bag or piece of muslin suspended over a bowl, and leave to drain overnight. You can squeeze it a bit if you like.
Measure the liquid, pour into a saucepan and add 450g of sugar for every 600ml of fruit vinegar. Over a low heat, bring gently to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Boil for eight to 10 minutes, removing any scum as it rises. Take off the heat and set aside to cool. When cold, bottle and seal. Use within 12 months.
