When I am working alone I love to listen to music, I set a timer for each room as I find this keeps me focused and productive.

I also like to try and beat my previous clean time for each space, this isn't always possible but I am a little competitive with myself and sometime its worth working in a different order to see if it speeds up the process.

I always then leave enough time to hoover and mop the whole house as my final task

My new favourite track to work to is "Thank you" (Not so Bad) by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto & Dido

Is it time to simplify your home and your life?

The less stuff we have, the more time we gain.

Start small, maybe your bedside table or the bathroom cabinet.

Do not over face yourself with a whole room or space as you will just get over whelmed and give up. Start small and I promise small changes lead to big changes.

January is always a fresh start for me,

I love to reset all my ambitions because like everyone else when life gets busy we can sometimes loose focus and just get carried away with the mundane.

I like to reset the house when I take down the decorations, The decorations are packed away labelled with the room they had been in, what the tree theme was and colours used. This makes things much easier when getting them back out.

I like to go through the kids draws, donate any which have not been worn for the last couple of months and this makes room for any new items they have received for Christmas
