Gone Wild Education CIC would like to say a huge thank you to Tesco Wath, their wonderful Community Champion, Suzanne Nettleton and all the customers who bought books from the charity book sale.
Your generous donation will make a real difference here in our local community.
The funds will help us deliver a Wild Women wellbeing session, giving local women the chance to unwind in nature, cook together over an open fire and enjoy calming nature based crafts.
Your support will also help us run a Family Forest Fun session this summer, featuring a magical Gruffalo themed story trail and hands on natural crafts for children and their grown ups to enjoy together.
Thank you for helping us create meaningful, nature rich experiences for our community. Your kindness goes further than you know. 🌿

This weekend, we hosted our first birthday party for these two little explorers. Thanks to everyone who came!
Children enjoyed playing together outside, bug hunting, rock painting and den building were just a few of the activities on offer. Lots of fun was had by all, topped off with a lovely hot meal from the amazing , who kept everyone fed and happy.
As you can see from the smiles, Teddy and Tobias had a great birthday party!

Look at this fantastic drawing of our logo by our amazing Forest School and Level 1 student, Lana. It's lovely to know you think of our sessions when you're not with us. You certainly have many talents!

Last week we welcomed lots of families to our final family fun day at Goldthorpe Embankment. Children enjoyed spending time outside, learning lots of new skills, from fire-lughting to balancing on the slack-lines. We went on minibeast hunts, created beautiful Easter bonnets and cooked s'mores. For our finale, we tested out our parachutes and launched eggs from a great height. It's safe to say that everyone had a cracking time!
Thanks once again to our fabulous volunteers and all who attended. A huge thank you to Barnsley Council for their GCA funding, Salvation Army Goldthorpeand Barnsley Council Dearne Area Team
